A little more than 500 years ago, on the 5th of May, 1514, at the ninth session of the Lateran Council the Papal Orator pronounced his paean of triumph over the extinction of heretics and schismatics, “There is an end of resistance to the Papal rule and religion: opposers there exist no more.”
Three and a half years later, to a day, on October 31st 1517, Luther posted his 95 Theses at Wittenberg. “The voice of an obscure monk rang through Europe, like a mighty thunder peal; awakening men from the slumber of ages, and shaking to its foundation the usurped dominion of Papal Rome.”
The Revelation cry went forth, “Come out of her My people”
