Personal Secession

America has been saddled with the consummate SocioCommuFacist Dictator of American Presidents.  Now many feel they want their State to secede. Lincoln settled the ‘right to secede’ issue with unlawful acts, executive orders and the blood of hundreds of thousands of America’s Fathers and Sons.  I don’t believe there is one State Government with the guts to attempt a resurrection of that right!  The apotheosis of Lincoln only verifies the maxim, “History is written by the victors.” Washington DC won, America lost! Does anyone really believe that Obama would be less tyrannical than Lincoln who was a much better man?

There is a viable alternative to State Secession and that is Personal Secession. Personal Secession is a Religious Liberty issue.  God Almighty called me to ministry more than twenty years ago and with that call He led me to secede from all the entanglements with the world systems which violated His Law.   When He called me out I was on the inside looking out and my vision was obscured by the snares that entangled me. It was a long process coming out of the world system to the point where I am now on the outside looking in.

The Grace of God

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.  (Isa 1:18)

Grace is not you changing for God, but it is the power of God changing you.  But what does it take to receive this life changing grace?  God does call us to change only one thing, and that one thing is our mind.  To “change your mind” is the very meaning of the word “repent.”  REPENT is not a bad word, unless of course you don’t want to change your mind. The Image of the Beast

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;(Exo 20:3-5)

The governments of men are a likeness or image of the Government of God which is a thing that is in heaven above.  It is not merely images which are prohibited by the commandment, Continue reading The Image of the Beast

What Moonth is it? – Sabbath Rest

Col 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath: (17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body of Christ.  If I understand this correctly, the things before the colon were the shadow, but Christ is the embodiment  (or substance of what was a shadow). The shadow pointed to Christ. He is the fulfillment of the law. We do not have license to judge on those things thereby. If so, then we are not to judge nor allow ourselves to be judged in our keeping of these lesser commandments, or “shadow of things to come.” Continue reading What Moonth is it? – Sabbath Rest

Lessons from the Waldensians

By Geoffrey Botkin, 29 April, 2010
Once upon a time, God made a promise to a faithful family known as the Rechabites. He said there would be at least one believer among their descendants forever.[1] Historians have lost track of the Rechabites. We do not know where that one believer may be living today. But we do know about God’s remarkable faithfulness to a group of living families which traces its Christian heritage back to the days of the apostles. Known as Waldensians, they are the only group of families whose Christian legacy appears to span the entire 20 centuries since the apostles. I recently spoke to a living Waldensian by phone. Biblical Sovereign

None are so hopelessly enslaved, as those who falsely believe they are free. The truth has been kept from the depth of their minds by masters who rule them with lies. They feed them on falsehoods till wrong looks like right in their eyes.
-Johann von Goethe

Let every soul be subject to the Higher Power… With this statement it is recognized that no mortal man can be absolutely sovereign. But the bible does teach us to attain the highest level of sovereignty that we can. As a matter of fact it is a requirement for those who walk in the Spirit. “But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.” (1Co 2:15) This is the position that can only be attained by one who exercises biblical sovereignty. Government Takeover of the Church

Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego were thrown into the fire because they would not bow to an Idol (a fictitious entity).   Everyone else who bowed did so under threat and duress of being thrown into that same fire.   The children of Israel, the Hebrew people constantly fell into idol worship — the contemporary Christian might wonder how they could have been so stupid as to bow to fictitious entities made of wood, stone or metal! Peter and the other Apostles were thrown into prison for preaching in Messiah’s name, they did not ask the authorities what they were legally permitted to say, rather Peter proclaimed, “We must Obey God rather than men.”   Likewise the early Church suffered great persecution because they would simply not bow to the lordship of Caesar.
