  1. Hi Nicklas, Great discussion in chat room today. Please post your study on divorce/remarriage. I would love to read that. Thanks!

  2. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused,if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. If thou remembrance of these things, thou be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine ,whereunto thou hast attained. 1 Timothy 4:4-6 OKJB Doesn’t these verses clear up the talk about what we can or can’t eat. I don’t eat pork that much because I don’t think it is healthy for me. But if a brother or Sister want to eat it they don’t sin against God.

    1. “For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer” You notice that the “word of God” comes first, then prayer, which begs the question: What did God sanctify (set apart) by his word “to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth? v.3

    2. These verses do not change clean or unclean foods from the Old Testament. Only what is clean is considered food. Pork, shellfish and bats are never food. God never changes. Malachi 3:6. Donā€™t be deceived. Question mushrooms. They are not a plant or herb.

  3. You don’t see a 7 yr. time period in the Bible? Maybe you missed Rev. 11, 12, & 13. Two witnesses testify for 1260 days (3 1/2 yrs -Rev. 11:3) Read Rev. 12: 6 & 14 ( that is the last half of the seven years – 42 months=3 1/2 yrs. cant you add then read Rev. 13: 5 ( 42 months again, the same last 3 1/2 yrs. after the two witnesses are killed by the beast) Oh, by the way, this beast is not America or a flesh and blood man, but this study would be too advanced for you

    1. There are actually hundreds of 7 year periods in the bible, perhaps I am not as advanced as you are to agree with you. I dont know why you are compelled to listen to me since you so vehemently disagree – I will never come in line with your seed of Satan racist doctrine, and neither will I allow it here. Perhaps you should start your own blog and broadcast because I will NEVER advance to your position.

      1. But 7 years in question are the end time prophecy. I am not sure what Seed of Satan doctrine you are referring to, but the point is, there is a Daniels 70th week, its biblical and it is in the bible. SO is the building of the third temple, and the measurements of the Ezekiel temple have never BEEN built. I am not interested in purchasing any materials that relate to Jesus Christ at all, as I think they should be free. I don’t support usury or capital gain in the name of Jesus. I do support giving to the needy, the hungry, and the poor who cannot support themselves. The weak and the frail.

  5. I just finished listening to the message on the 70 weeks…
Your argument that a Hebrew did not expect a gap in the 69 and 70 weeks is weak. They did not anticipate a gap in the ministry of the first and second coming of Messiah either, but there clearly is one. Take for example when Jesus read from Isaiah when He was in the synagogue in Nazareth (Luke 4:16-21). He read from Isaiah 61:1-2, but He stopped mid verse in verse 2 and then said that it was being fulfilled in their hearing that day. The second half of verse 2 is what Messiah would do when He returned in judgment.

    1. In your reference there is NO time frame given as in the seventy weeks, so no inserted gap is necessary. Is your argument that they should have expected a gap between 69-70? That is even weaker.

      1. No. My argument is that they probably COULDN’T have seen it. How would anyone see a gap in Isaiah 6:2? The point is that just because the first century Jews may not have been able to foresee a gap, doesn’t mean that there shouldn’t be one.

      2. May I change the subject with a couple questions I have after reading the article, “The Name”? I am once again blown away with new information (really old). I was wondering who is writing the article? What is the Life Raft that he refers to? Are you all related to Ellen G. White’s teachings as it seems from reading the article? I always like to know who the author is of information I read.

        1. I may not agree with everyone on everything, but this article provides much food for thought, but it is not the word of God. I am not SDA, SDA’s do not like me as I deny that Ellen G White is a prophet and I expose the fact that Saturday is not the sabbath of scripture… neither is that article SDA doctrine. The article has hundreds of references, take each one at face value, they cannot be judged or dismissed on the basis of the one who compiled them. The authors conclusions, if any do not have to be accepted, come to your own conclusions.

  6. Would a possible conclusion be that one of them represents historical events while the other represents future prophecy not yet completely revealed? Why is it necessary that both represent the same historical events thereby producing an apparent contradiction in the Bible?

  7. We spend a lot of time listening to your Bible studies for which we’re very grateful. Your interpretation of the 4th beast in Daniel, CTB_DAN05 and the first beast of Revelations discussed in your DVD as well as your Bible studies appear virtually identical to us. There may be a difference thatā€™s too suttle for us to discern, which makes us wonder if you think theyā€™re the same beast? If they are the same beast with identical interpretations wouldn’t they both have the same number of heads? We were under the impression there were no contradictions or misstatements in the Bible, so you can understand our confusion. How can the ten horned beast in Daniel have one head while the ten horned beast in Revelations have seven heads create identical interpretations? Can you help us understand what’s going on here?

    1. Even though the descriptions given by two different Prophets in two different eras are different it is not contradictory that these are the same beast. Taken individually there is no conclusion other than they are both Rome. Try to identify either as another power, what do you come up with? I’m open to suggestions.

      1. Read Dan. 7 carefully, and pay attention to vs. 11 &12. Did Babylon continue after it was conquered by Persia? NO. Did Persia continue after being conquered by Greece? NO! Did Greece continue after being conquered by Rome? NO!

    2. Also, if you read Daniel carefully, he doesn’t specifically say that the beast only has one head. Practically every instance where the two beasts are described in both texts, they are identical. The only differences are simply not mentioned in either case.

    Subject: Acts Question

I’m currently listening to your reading of Acts, in particular, CTB.050809.ACTS.04A.mp3. I’m unable to get as clear an interpretation about the references to Gods laws as you, but suspect your interpetation is correct. When I look at Henry’s discussion he on the other hand appears to be saying eating pork is now okay. I’ve noticed you often rely on Henry’s comments and was wonding how Henry could have come to this strange interpretation?

    2. As soon as they came to Antioch, they gathered the multitude together, and delivered the epistle to them (Act_15:30, Act_15:31), that they might all know what it was that was forbidden them, and might observe these orders, which would be no difficulty for them to do, most of them having been, before their conversion to Christ, proselytes of the gate, who had laid themselves under these restrictions already. But this was not all; it was that they might know that no more than this was forbidden them, that it was no longer a sin to eat swine’s flesh, no longer a pollution to touch a grave or a dead body.

    1. Henry may be correct, depending on the individuals convictions. Just because something may not be “sinful” does not mean that it is the right, healthy or the faithful thing to do. I keep the commandment because I have faith that keeping His commandments and statutes will yield the best result for my life. Paul said to let no man judge you in these things. Col 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat… I choose to honor the dietary statutes.
